bought buttons to fix up a shirt, but in the end i gave up because the cutting was horrid and thus i decided to cut it up into a detachable collar.
i am planning to sew sequins all over this collar. project currently on halt because i can't find similar sequins in larger quantities. i am so obsessed with sequins these days that i am also sewing them on an old black skirt. i hope when i fix up that skirt, i will wear it out more often.
my fishes have a clean tank after a year of procrastination!

today, on the first day of a new year according to the lunar calendar, i went to visit my grandmother at her house.
i hardly have the tradition of buying new clothes for lunar new year, because my mother has this infinite grudge against buying unneccessary items like clothes. Thus, i just dug out an outfit from my boring closet and went on with my life.
i am sorry about repetitive photographs. i can't seem to decide which to put up, thus the indecisive mind comes up with this amazing solution: put up everything!

hello, these are my sisters. i am the middle child. what a pun time, so punny!
i scored this wine red jewel tone velvet skirt for fifteen a month ago in Bugis. Yay!
then my diva sister wanted me to take pictures with her so i tested out the lighting.
I am extremely anal about lighting when it comes to taking pictures of people because i don't really like to take pictures of myself so unflattering pictures are a no-no.
I used to have this fear of being in front of the camera because i couldn't stand looking at myself (awful esteem issues which i still battle with everyday). Then after some time, i realised that if i wanted to take photography seriously, i couldn't be a coward who can't face her irrational fears.
I think I've improved quite a lot when it comes to facing this fear ..though i still cringe when people take pictures in horrible lighting and we all look awfully unflattering.
Also a reason why i will happily accept being the photographer just so i can try to bring out the best in people when they are photographs.

I got a new mustard wallet. Somehow the colour manages to brighten up my mood, and i like that.
Testing out the new stuff i got. I don't really use make-up but the glittery gold and silver and nude and all palate just brought out the OCD within me that's crazy over things that shine in the light. And the liquid liner ..well ..it was ..burgundy and gold.
